The first kids of 2011 are here!!
Rocking W Boer Goats Annie had twins early in the morning on January 28, 2011. Here are their first pictures. The paint is a buck and the full brown is a doe. Both are 88% boers.
Their sire is 3 Eagles Stinger's Legacy a grandson of Outback Boers Scorpios Stinger the Ennobled buck that was at White House Boer Goats.
The buckling weighed in at 6 lbs 6 ozs. He is a great sturdy little guy with wonderful paint markings. He has been SOLD as a 4-H wether. His new owner has named him Ringo.
The doeling weighed in at 6 lbs 4 ozs. She is the busiest little thing. She has been SOLD and will go to a breeder in Whatcom County.
Not even 2 hours after Annie kidded Suzy-Q dropped twins as well.
JMC2 Suzy-Q's twins are a big-boned, dark brown paint buck and a lovely wide traditional doe with a dark brown head and a spot on her back. They were born on January 28, 2011 before noon. These kids are 99% Purebred Boer goats.
Their sire is TLC Northern Warrior. Warrior and Suzy-Q always seem to make the prettiest most correct kids. We are very pleased with this year's twins.
Suzy's paint buckling weighed in at 10 lbs. 6 oz. He has been SOLD as a 4-H wether.
Her doeling weighed in at 10 lbs. even. She is so hearty she was trying to play with her brother within a few hours after birth. The doe has been SOLD.
Keep checking back! There are many more kids to come.
Early January 29, 2011 (2:00am) White Forest Trish finally kids. This doe is known as our "December Doe". She was so big so early on that we expected her to kid in December. Instead she held on until here in late January when she produced three big bucklings.
These little bucks are affectionally called Full Sail, Half Mast and Smidgeon. They all have nice dark capes to their shoulders and are long-legged and long bodied.
At a week old Half Mast has been SOLD to be a 4-H wether. His new owner has renamed him Warrior's Victory (aka Vic). We hope it's a sign he'll be a 4-H winner!
Two of the bucks weighed in at 10+ lbs and the third one weighed 8 lbs 4 oz. A very good showing from their sire Kindlehope Rogue Warrior.
February 1, 2011 Parker Gourmet's Suspect's Alibi kidded a beautiful little doeling.
Alibi's doe, named Kindlehope Richocet's Flirty Glance, is sired by RRD Richocet who was at Toboton Creek Boer Goats. She weighed in at 7 lbs even.
She looks a lot like her mother. She is a fullblood doe and will be retained for our herd.
Capriole's Silver Pixie had a fullblood buck born February 2, 2011. He is a single kid who's getting all of her attention.
We named this buck Kindlhope Silver Warrior. He weighed in at 10 lbs. and is shaping up to be a very nice buck.
Pixie is a great mom and they are never far from each other.
February 4, 2011 our spotted doe White Forest Gabrielle gave us a beautiful 94% spotted buck. His sire is our TLC Northern Warrior.
Gabby proved to be a great mom. As a first timer she gave us this big buckling Warrior's Color Guard. He weighed in at 10 lbs 2 oz at birth.
Guard is wide, strong and colorful! He is impressive in size already, 31 lbs at a month old. He has been SOLD as a commercial buck.
White Forest Ready delivered triplets on February 5, 2011. She had 2 doelings and 1 buckling.
The first doe weighed in at 7 lbs 5 ozs. She has a white blaze up her face that turns into a lightening bolt that curls around the back of her ear.
The second doe weighed in at 8 lbs 6 ozs and has a very dark head with a partial white blaze.
The buck weighed in the heaviest at 9 lbs 4 ozs. and has several carmel colored spots on the back of his head.
Both kids are 1-1/2 mths old in these pictures.
Connecticutt - sold to Tailor
They are 11 days old in these pictures.
Silver Warrior has a carmel colored spotted on his forehead. Carmel colored spots are a trademark of his sire TLC Northern Warrior, but this is the first spot we've seen on a kids face.

Be sure to scroll all the way down - the newest kids are at the bottom.
Red Velvet delivered a single red doe on February 26, 2011! She's a strong, big doeling and Velvet is a great mom.
The doeling is not completely all red. She has a narrow white slash on her tummy. Very cute. She weighed in at 10 lbs. A big girl!
The little doeling looks like a mini-me of her mom.
